Altum Young Adults is a program of Souls of the Christian Apostolate (SOCA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit apostolate headquartered in Denver, Colorado. SOCA is the legal entity responsible for all operations, programs, events, and communications conducted under the Altum Young Adults name. References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to Souls of the Christian Apostolate (SOCA) operating the Altum Young Adults program. References to "you" refer to the individual accessing our website or participating in our programs.
By accessing or using our website at altumyoungadults.com or socacatholic.org, or by participating in any Altum Young Adults program or event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. Participation in the Mental Prayer Challenge and the Volunteer Outreach Team is free of charge. By signing up for these programs you agree to provide accurate information, to engage with the program in good faith, and to treat other participants and volunteers with respect. SOCA reserves the right to remove any participant from a program at any time for conduct that is disruptive, harmful, or inconsistent with the values and mission of Altum Young Adults.
Tickets for paid Altum events including the Altum National Conference are sold by Souls of the Christian Apostolate (SOCA). All ticket purchases are subject to the following terms:
Refund Policy: Tickets are fully refundable within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days tickets are non-refundable but are transferable to another individual. To request a refund or transfer contact us at [contact email] with your order details.
Transferability: Tickets may be transferred to another individual at no charge. The new ticket holder must provide their name and contact information to us prior to the event.
Event Changes: SOCA reserves the right to modify event dates, venues, speakers, or programming due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation by SOCA, ticket holders will receive a full refund. SOCA is not responsible for travel, lodging, or other costs incurred by attendees in connection with an event.
Conduct at Events: All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the values and mission of Altum Young Adults. SOCA reserves the right to remove any attendee from an event without refund for conduct that is disruptive, harmful, or inconsistent with our values.
Participation in the Altum referral and affiliate program is subject to the following terms:
Eligibility: Participation is open to ticket buyers and approved affiliate partners. Participation in the affiliate program does not create an employment, contractor, or agency relationship between the participant and SOCA.
Commission Structure: Referral commissions are earned when a referred individual purchases a ticket using the participant's unique referral link or code and does not request a refund within the 14-day refund window. SOCA reserves the right to modify commission rates and program terms at any time with reasonable notice.
Payout: Commissions are paid out in a single batch after the event via PayPal, Venmo, or check at SOCA's discretion. SOCA is not responsible for delays in payment due to incorrect payment information provided by the participant.
Tax Reporting: Referral commissions constitute taxable income. Participants earning $600 or more in referral commissions in a calendar year will receive a Form 1099-NEC from SOCA as required by the IRS. Participants are solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes on commissions earned.
Prohibited Conduct: Participants may not engage in spam, misleading advertising, or any promotional conduct that misrepresents Altum Young Adults or SOCA. SOCA reserves the right to withhold commissions and terminate affiliate participation for any violation of these terms or for conduct that damages the reputation of Altum Young Adults or SOCA.
Program Termination: SOCA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral and affiliate program at any time. Earned commissions prior to termination will be honored subject to the payout terms above.
By providing your phone number and providing explicit consent on any of our opt-in forms, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Souls of the Christian Apostolate (SOCA) operating as Altum Young Adults. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help reply HELP or contact us at [contact email]. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any ticket or participating in any program. SOCA will not be liable for any delays or failures in the receipt of SMS messages due to factors outside our control.
By providing your email address on any of our opt-in forms, you consent to receive email communications from SOCA operating as Altum Young Adults. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. SOCA complies with the CAN-SPAM Act and all applicable email marketing laws.
Souls of the Christian Apostolate is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Charitable donations made directly to SOCA may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Ticket purchases, program fees, and referral commissions are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible. SOCA will provide donation acknowledgment letters upon request for qualifying charitable contributions.
All content on our website including text, images, graphics, logos, video, audio, and design elements is the property of Souls of the Christian Apostolate or its content providers and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, or create derivative works from any content on our website without the prior written consent of SOCA.
